It started with a dream. In the year 2000 I was returning from a tourism fair in Europe and I was frustrated to offer only canned tour packages to our clients. I dreamed of one word: personalization. Because a trip for a family with children, a honeymoon couple or two retired gentlemen is not the same. Each type of traveler deserves the trip of his dreams, not a package... And my country Peru offered experiences for everyone. The theme was how to achieve that goal.
The marvel of technology came in our support: Internet to reach the traveler directly, information systems to efficiently process customer requirements, and most important of all: to find the people capable of integrating emotionally with the customers to make their dreams come true in an unforgettable travel experience. And we succeeded!
This is how Peru Tourism was born 20 years ago. And our thousands of satisfied customers can vouch for what we say. Years later, social networks are a permanent testimony of the satisfaction of our customers: Facebook, Trip Advisor, Instagram...among others.
Four years ago, we made a new decision: to offer not only personalized trips in Peru, but in 6 other countries in South America: Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Bolivia and Colombia.
The work was hard. We had to build a network of service providers in those countries who understood our business culture based on personalized traveler satisfaction. And we succeeded!
